A wonderful tomato pasta sauce that can be frozen so it's always to hand.
| 450g | ripe tomatoes (or 1 tin) |
| 1 | medium sized onion, thinly sliced |
| 30g | butter or oil |
| 1 dessertspoon | organic plain flour |
| 2 | cloves garlic, smashed and chopped finely |
| 150ml | vegetable stock - organic vegetable bouillon can be used instead |
| 1tsp | of organic Italian herbs or to taste |
| Steenbergs Organic fleur de sel | |
| FAIRTRADE organic black pepper | |
| 15g | butter, to finish |
| Steenbergs organic chilli powder if you want to hot it up |
