Recipe for 4
This stew has a chinese flavour twist with the star anise, ginger and tangerine peel .
| 1½kg organic pork fillet, chopped into 4cm | pieces |
| 400ml | dark soy sauce |
| 300ml | sunflower oil |
| 90ml | water |
| 2 teaspoons | unrefined organic sugar |
| 60ml | rice wine or sherry |
| 25g | ginger, grated |
| 2 | medium onions, sliced thinly |
| 4 | garlic cloves, chopped finely |
| 5- 6 | 5mm pieces of dried tangerine peel |
| 2 | organic star anise |
| 2½cm | organic cinnamon stick |
| ½ teaspoon | Szechuan (Sichuan) peppercorns, dry roasted and ground |
