Ingredients
| 600g | hake, skinned and boned |
| 2 | eggs, beaten |
| 3-4 tbsp | plain flour (use gluten free if necessary) |
| 1 | packet of Steenbergs Herby Lemon Stuffing mix (130g) |
| 2 tbsp | vegetable oil |
| to season | sea salt & pepper |
Method
- Place the flour, beaten egg & stuffing mix in 3 separate bowls.
- Skin, bone and cut your fish fillets into chunky strips.
- Dip the fish first into the flour, then coat with egg, then finally cover with breadcrumbs.
- Place on a baking tray, drizzle with oil and then bake in the pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes until crisp and golden.
- Delicious served with tartare sauce and a squeeze of lemon.
