Lunaio Italian certified organic Extra Virgin Oil Oil stone milled with organic fresh lemons.
Unlike flavoured oils which are the result of extracts added to oil, this extra virgin olive oil is truly imbued with the perfume and flavour of lemon by stone milling olives and lemons together.
Saverio and Grazia de Carlo have farmed and milled olives for generations in the Conca di Bari region of Puglia, in southern Italy.
To make this oil they stone grind about 40 kilo of fresh local organic lemons together with every 100 kilo of the best organically grown hand picked Ogliarola olives.
The Ogliarola olive is an old fashioned Puglia variety which makes an unusually delicate and subtle oil in complement to the flavour and perfume for the lemons.
