Wheat is one of the top three most produceed crops in the world, along with corn and rice. Bacheldre Watermil lightly sieves the Wholemeal flour removing about 19% of the bran to produce a light brown flour to which they mix Organic Malted Wheat flakes, helping you create a "granary" style loaf full of flavour and texture.
Bacheldre is based in Montgomery, Powys in Wales. The mill dates back to 1575 and is family run by the Scott family, using old and new equipment to produce the finest flour. Stoneground flour leaves all the natural flavours intact.
