Herbes de Provence (organic)

Description Price Quantity
organic herbes de Provence, standard - 21g e £2.15
organic herbes de Provence, large jar £3.70

Herbes de Provence is a classic French blend of dried herbs. It has some of the pungency of mixed herbs and bouquet garni, but the strength is softened through the addition of tarragon, celery and lavender.

The core of Steenbergs organic Herbes de Provence is thyme with its characteristic sharpness and bay with its camphor tones. To this, we add marjoram and parsley giving the mix freshness with an almost new-mown-grass smell. These are then softened through the addition of tarragon's anise-freshness, the lightness of celery seeds and the floral tastes of lavender.

Steenbergs organic herbes de Provence is blended at our organic spice factory in North Yorkshire from organic thyme, organic marjoram, organic parsley, organic tarragon, organic lavender, organic celery seeds and organic bay leaves.

Part of the Steenbergs range of organic Mediterranean blends. For information on Steenbergs stockists (including becoming one) or bulk organic herb blends including bulk organic Herbes de Provence please contact us on 01765 640088 or email enquiries@steenbergs.co.uk.
