Allspice is a highly aromatic dried berry named because its flavour resembles a combination of pepper, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Allspice is one of the most popular baking spices - use Steenbergs organic allspice instead of pepper (it’s old name is Jamaican Pepper), giving any food a Caribbean twist.
