Scented Couscous

Ingredients

  • 450g couscous
  • 100g butter
  • 1tsp organic cinnamon powder
  • 3tbsp pine nuts
  • 100g sultanas

What to do

  1. You can prepare the couscous on its own by steaming it over boiling water for 20 minutes, or you can use this more exotic version. Sprinkle 300ml water on the couscous and leave for 10 minutes. Break up the lumps that form with your fingers.
  2. Now melt the butter in a frying pan or heavy bottomed saucepan and fry the couscous with all the other ingredients for 4 minutes until warm and fragrant.
