Mexican Salsa De Chile De Arbol

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Put an ungreased pan over a low heat and cook the whole tomatoes, turning them from time to time until they are soft and slightly charred, about 15 minutes.
  2. Place the whole chiles to one side of the pan and toast for a few seconds. Discard the stems of the chiles.
  3. Grind the chiles to a textured powder, then add the garlic and cooked tomate verde and blend to a roughly textured sauce.
  4. Dilute with the water and add salt to taste.
