Lettuce & Fish Soup

  1. Slice the fillet of fish and add cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar, white pepper and oil. Separate the leaves of lettuce. Pour the minimum of oil into the pot to heat, then fry the ginger slices and salt for ½ minute. Pour in the boiling water and bring to the oil, toss in the lettuce, simmer for 5 minutes with the lid on, toss in the fish mixture and simmer for 7 - 10 minutes.
