Festive Fruit Punch

As a non-drinker, this punch provides a wonderful warming non-alcoholic alternative to mulled wine without losing the ability to ooze festivity and seasonality - it is delcious, warm and inviting!

Serves 8 - 10

Ingredients

Method

  1. Place the cloves in to the orange skin - I used about 25 per orange - and put in large saucepan or preserving pan
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients, apart from the honey, and bring to a simmer
  3. Add honey according to your taste - bearing in mind it can make it very sweet!

Serve warm and the beauty is that you can just keep topping up the liquid and add another spice sachet! Delicious and this will be served next Bonfire Night as well as after singing Christmas Carols.

If you are tempted to have a punch with a little alcohol, this can be done with cider too. Don't forget that the mulled wine spice sachets are perfect for adding to red wine for those of you that like the traditional recipe!
