French Refreshing Aperitif

This refreshing drink recipe was sent in by Paul from Harrogate and apparently is delicious - look forward to trying it on a hot summer's day.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Put all the ingredients in a clean bowl, cover with cling film & leave to steep for 3 days.
  2. Strain through a double layer of muslin & bottle.
  3. Drink over ice on the patio on a hot evening

Tasting note:

Don't worry that it tastes so bitter when you start making it. Once the sugar has dissolved, it's no more bitter than a decent marmalade.
