Ginger Biscuits

These biscuits are another mainstay of Axel's Mum - just delicious!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Grease a metal baking tray with a pastry (or paint) brush or butter paper; turn the baking tray upside down after greasing with sunflower oil to allow any excess oil to drain away. Heat oven to 170°C.
  2. Melt the organic butter, organic golden syrup and organic Fairtrade sugar in a saucepan. Sift the flour, organic ginger and salt into the sugar mixture and mix well.
  3. Roll into small balls and put on the prepared pan and slightly press down. Bake for 15 minutes. Don't overbake. Leave to cool completely on wire rack before serving.
