Green Tea Chai

This is a traditional Kashmiri masala chai that will help you digest any spiced food. If you wish, you can reduce or omit the sugar from the organic tea. 

Recipe for 4

4tsp organic muscovado sugar, or other brown sugar
½tsp organic green cardamoms, lightly crushed
2tsp organic green tea leaves, ideally Indian organic green tea
1250ml freshly drawn water

Put organic sugar, organic cinnamon and organic cardamom pods into a pan. Add the water to the pan and bring to the boil. Gently simmer for 5 minutes then take off boil. Add organic green tea leaves to water and leave to infuse for 3 - 5 minutes. Strain and serve in tea glasses or tea cups.
