Galangal Ground Powder Organic Spice

Steenbergs Galangal Powder is just what you need for your South East Asian cooking.  Closely related to ginger, organic galangal (known often as Laos powder) is used mainly in Indonesia and South East Asian cooking.  Organic galangal is more intense and flowery in flavour than ginger and its aroma really gets to the back of your nose with a harsh bite. Use small amounts of Steenbergs organic galangal in soups, curries, grilling chicken or fish. Alternatively use with minced beef with very little liquid for a change. Steenbergs organic galangal is normally supplied in powdered form that is coarse, fluffy and fribrous.

Steenbergs organic galangal is part of the Steenbergs range of over 250 organic spices, peppers, herbs and flavoured sugars. For your local stockist click on "Where to see us". For bulk organic galangal and bulk organic herbs and spices, organic ingredients or to become a stockist call 01765 640088 or email enquiries@steenbergs.co.uk.
