Cider vinegar is one of those things that I always think are under rated. You can use it instead of wine vinegar and it adds a faint apple tang to the dish - so whether you add it with a creamy dish to chicken or pork, or make salad dressing with it, or add it to roasting peppers, it's a pleasure to use.
Apalls calls this organic cyder vinegar and its made in Suffolk using a process that they claim is unique to them. Fermented from the fresh pressed juice of a special blend of whole organically grown dessert and cyder apples - its then gently fermented and matured over time. Its botled unpasteurised and free from perservatives.
Works well for marinades, sauces and dressings. You can even use it as a refreshing daily tonic - just add a adessertspoonful of cyder vinegar to a glass of water or apple juice.
Aspall's Premier Cru has been named the world's best cider at the World Cider Awards 2009 for the second consecutive year.
Suitable for coeliacs, vegetarians and vegans.
