Suma organic white basmati rice is grown in Pakistan. The all purpose delicious organic Basmati rice and works as a complementary dish to curry, casseroles and as a key ingredient in rice dishes such as kedgeree.
Fluffy and light, this long grained rice is named after the tropical basmati blossom of South East Asia.
This product is Gluten-free, Organic and Vegan.
Directions: Rinse until the water runs clear. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes (allow 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water). Bring to the boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer until tender (around 10 minutes). Remove from heat and leave to stand for 5 minutes with the lid on.
Quick tip: If you like yellow rice add either a couple of strands of saffron to the pan or half a teaspoon of turmeric.
