Trees Can't Dance mild sweet chilli sauce made with extra fresh ginger and lime juice. Made from chillies grown in the UK - Northumberland to be exact - and made in the Uk - Northumberland again. Trees can't Dance is the world's most northerly chilli Farm - being in the wilds of Northumberland.
Notes on this Additive Free Natural Sweet Chilli Sauce: Mild & fruity. red chillies, garlic, fresh lime & fresh ginger combine to create delicious sweet sauce with a real zing! Great for dipping, glazing, and dolloping.
Trees Can't Dance say of themselves: "It’s amazing what you can achieve when you live too far from anyone to hear them telling you that it won’t work”.
And that’s really how Trees Can’t Dance began; over 4 years ago at the world’s most northerly chilli farm.
Against all conventional horticultural wisdom we began growing chillies in the wilds of Northumberland.
Perhaps surprisingly; they grew rather well and it wasn’t long before they had to find something to do with all those chillies. Disappointed with the quality of the chilli sauce brands available in the UK, Trees Can't Dance hit on the idea of filling a gap in the market by producing their own sauces using homegrown ingredients.
Steenbergs used to stock the organic version of this sauce but sadly Trees Can't Dance have stopped making it - too much paperwork - this is the next best thing. Still very tasty and no artificial additives.
Contains no artificial ingredients, and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Nut free and gluten free.
Use as a dipping sauce or perk up a stir free by adding at the end.
Ingredients of Trees Can't Dance Sweet Chilli sauce: sugar (50%), vinegar, water, lime juice (3.5%), garlic, ginger (1.4%), red chilli, salt and spices.
May contain sulphites from the vinegar.
