This organic couscous comes from France and is a wonderful alternative to bread, rice or potatoes. Traditionally used in Middle Eastern cooking as an accompaniment to tagines or as salads it has become popular in the UK in recent years. Quick and easy to prepare simply add boiling water onto the couscous and fork through - for added flavour add lemon juice or dressing at this stage, or butter. Add sultanas, raisins or almonds for added interest.
