Grumpy Mule Organic Decaffeinated Coffee

This coffee was organically grown on Rainforest Alliance Certified farms in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range, within Northern Columbian. This is a particularly sustainable coffee where the key aims are environmental conservation and biodiversity on the farms. The Arabica trees grow beneath the forest canopy and the farms are the source of the many springs that feed the Piedras and Manzanares river, as they flow towards the city of Santa Mara and the Caribbean coast.

The Swiss Water method of decaffeinating coffee is prized for preserving the aroma and flavour of the coffee without the use of chemicals. Roasted a touch darker, there is a rounded chocolatey flavour to the coffee and a deep aroma.

Excellent decaff for all day drinking - strength 3.

Grumpy Mule is created by a local coffee roasting company based in Holmfirth, North Yorkshire.
