Steenbergs Yellow Salt has an amazing golden colour and is great for use as a finishing salt for your table. Steenbergs Yellow Salt tastes very much like traditional red sea salt from Hawaii but with a golden shine coming from the addition of a local plant similar to turmeric. Steenbergs Yellow Salt represents the amazing sunsets amid the palm trees and and white sand beaches from Hawaii where it comes from - well so say the creators - and are great for use with margarita drinks. The yellow colour is from turmeric (non organic). The Steenbergs margarita yellow salt is made from sea salt traditionally sun dried in Hawaii and blended with turmeric and taro (or Kalo). Use the Steenbergs Yellow Salt to add a colourful rim to Margaritas or alternatively use it as normal salt on your table or in your grinder - works fantastically as a conversation piece and it tastes good too.
