Directions for making Spiced Mead: Gently heat the contents of 1 sachet with a bottle of your preferred mead in a saucepan stirring occasionally. When the mixture is close to boiling remove from the heat and allow to stand for 5 -10 minutes. Reheat, strain, add some sliced lemon and orange and serve piping hot.

Ingredients for Spiced Mead: sugar, cinnamon, ginger, lemon peel, mace, clove.

Spiced Mead is also known as Metheglin or Methaglin.
