Native to Asia, cloves are a small reddish-brown flower bud, which are picked before opening and dried in the sun. Steenbergs organic whole cloves are a must for studding hams, oranges and onions for bread sauce. Or add oganic cloves to beef stew to bring out the flavour of the beef!
