Steenbergs Kenyan Black Tea is a speciality tea from the Tinderet Estate - it's a tippy high quality tea of TGFOP1 grade.  Tinderet - meaning Place of Lightening - is ideal for creating high quality teas and is part of the Williamson Tea Company.  Tinderet is a high-grown tea estate in Kericho District of the Upper Rift Valley in Kenya near Kisuma - it is some 2,130m above sea level, high enough to allow the tea to grow slowly and develop good polyphenol content that gives this tea a complex flavour.  Tinderet grows a classic flavoured Kenya tea - aromatic and relatively light for an African tea, with a bright coppery liquor, some hints of citrus and a hint of malt flavours.

How to make Kenya Black Tea from Tinderet Tea Estate - into a warmed teapot, put 1 teaspoon of Tinderet Kenyan Black Tea per cup plus 1 teaspoon for the pot.  Bring fresh water to the boil and then pour over the Tinderet Kenyan Black Tea and brew for 3 - 5 minutes.
